2018 Chinese New Year - Year of Dog

2018 is the Chinese Year of the Dog. Dog will act as the speaker of 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals in February 4, 2018. Dog will be the most favorite animal on the Chinese New Year Day, February 16, 2018. The theme of the Chinese Lantern Festival on March 2, 2018 will be the Zodiac Dog.

Chinese treat Dogs as pure animals in ancient China. The duty of the Dog was the night guard. Dogs were hardly invited inside the house. There is no legendary or adorable dog in the Chinese culture. A Chinese Dog symbol appearing in the Chinese New Year must be anonymous.

Many dog breeds are incredibly kid friendly. They are intelligent and easy to train. Some can be good companions to kids. Therefore, dog cartoon characters are much more than cats. Cartoon characters are the good symbols to attract people eyes during New Year. Many popular, lovely, cute, and adorable cartoon dogs have been the celebrity icons.
