Chinese Gender Predictor Accuracy for United Kingdom Women?

The Chinese Baby Gender Predictor is the baby gender prediction by pregnant woman's age and conception month using the Chinese Baby Gender Prediction Calendar Chart. It helps couples to choose the baby gender before woman's pregnancy.

Many people doubt about the accuracy of Chinese Gender Predictor. We did some researches on the sex ratio of live birth from different countries to see how accurate the Chinese Baby Gender Prediction Chart is. Years ago scientists from different countries had researched and reported that the seasons and regions affect the sex ratio at birth. For example, US National Center for Biotechnology Information published a study of the Association between Season of Pregnancy and Birth-Sex among Chinese in 2014. By using the same data, we study the relationship between Chinese Gender Predictor Chart and China sex ratio at Birth. We discovered that Chinese Baby Gender Predictor Chart is somewhat accurate but not precise in China. But this doesn't mean the Chinese Baby Gender Predictor Chart is accurate for other countries.

Also, we analyze the birth data of USA sex ratio at birth to see if the Chinese Baby Gender Chart is accurate for USA women. The conclusion is that Chinese Baby Gender Chart doesn't work for USA women. Now we want to take a look on the data of live births in England and Wales provided by the Office for National Statistics of United Kingdom. The live births data of England and Wales is from 2014 September to 2017 August. There are 2,080,229 baby records, 1,013,373 girls and 1,066,856 boys. The sex ratio at birth (male births per female births) is 1.0527. We break down it into monthly sex ratio in the following.

USA Sex Ratio Statistic Survey Data

Let's compare the USA sex ratio chart using the US natality data from 2007 to 2017, and then calculated the sex ratio at birth. There are 44,300,538 baby records, 21,631,917 girls and 22,668,621 boys. The sex ratio at birth is 1.0479. We break down it into monthly sex ratio in the following.

April, May, June, and July have higher sex ratio at birth. Pregnancy lasts for about 280 days or 40 weeks. It's for about 9 months. The conception months in July, August, September, and October are favorable to have a baby boy in the USA.

Both UK and USA sex ratio charts have higher sex ratios in August, September, and October of conception month. Therefore, Women in the United Kingdom and the USA have a better opportunity to have baby boys if they conceive babies during the autumn.

Chinese Baby Gender Prediction Chart

The chart below is the Chinese Baby Gender Statistic Chart. The age in the chart is the woman's Chinese age at conception. The month in the chart is the month of conception. For the prediction, blue is for the boy and pink is for the girl.

If we count the number of the boy cells in each month column, then we can see which months have a better chance to have a baby boy.

After the calculation, we find that January, February, March, April and September have higher boy counts.

September has a higher boy count. It's a good month to conceive a baby boy, which is the same as the United Kingdom and the USA. Pregnant months in the spring show a better chance to have a baby boy in China, but not in the United Kingdom and the USA. Therefore, the Chinese Baby Gender Prediction Chart doesn't work for the United Kingdom and USA women.

Sex Ratio at Birth of Germany, Singapore and Taiwan

According to the UK and the USA sex ratio charts, August, September, and October are good months to conceive a baby boy in the United Kingdom and the USA.

We did the same study for Singapore sex ratio at birth data. July, August, and September show higher sex ratios in both Singapore and USA charts. We also studied and published a study for Taiwan sex ratio at birth data. August, September, and October are also favorable to conceive baby boys for Taiwanese women. We also have Germany's birth data from 1946 to 1995. July, August, and September are good months to conceive baby boys in Germany. That means autumn is the best season to conceive for a baby boy.

Mother Ages and Chinese Baby Gender Chart

The Chinese Baby Gender Chart shows the women's age is the factor to affect the baby's gender. Therefore, we want to check the sex ratio statistic data to see any connection with women's ages.

After studying the US birth data from 2007 to 2017, we find no connection between mother ages and sex ratios in USA. Several other studies have examined the relationship between the age of the mother or father to the birth sex ratio. They said mother age has no statistically significant impact on birth sex ratio. But younger fathers have a higher chance to have male babies.

Recommend Zodiac-Lunar Months for Baby Gender Prediction Chart

Another issue in the Baby Gender Chart is the pregnant month. Most people think the pregnant months should use the Chinese Lunar Calendar. But Chinese Lunar Calendar needs an extra lunar month every three years to synchronize the cycle of the sun. That means Chinese lunar year has 13 lunar months every three years. The Baby Gender Chart doesn't mention the leap months. Some people have a question about we should use the Chinese Zodiac (Stem-Branch) Months instead of the lunar months.

Therefore, we compromise the Chinese Zodiac Months with Chinese Lunar Months into new Zodiac-Lunar Months the following chart. The days of Zodiac-Lunar Months must in both of lunar month and its corresponding Zodiac month. We strongly recommend using Zodiac-Lunar Months for the Chinese Baby Gender Prediction Chart.
