2021 Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is on September 21, 2021, Friday. People in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries will celebrate this harvest festival. Oversea Chinese and Asians will do the same celebration. Moon Lady and Moon Cakes are famous legendary stories behind the Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival.
The City of Irvine is hosting its first Mid-Autumn Festival at the Great Park Balloon Lawn, Tuesday, September 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. This traditional celebration will feature live music, moon cakes, food trucks, tea, and family-friendly crafts under a full moon on the Great Park Balloon Lawn. All ages are welcome, and no RSVP is needed for this free event. A full moon is set to rise over Irvine starting Monday, Sept. 20, and is expected to be visible for approximately three days.
